    Hey all!

I have a 2002 Chevy Tracker and my oil light came on. Drove it to my oil change place and they are pretty sure I need a new oil pump. Taking it to the dealer for service tomorrow but just wondering, how much does a oil pump replacement costs (parts and labor?)

    One Stop Quotes Is Live!

In these days of high prices, it’s vital that we have good insurance coverage, whether it be auto insurance, health insurance, dental insurance or home insurance to protect us in the case of unexpected situations. One big problem for many people though is that all these insurance packages can add up to represent a good chunk of change.

For this reason, it just doesn’t make sense to assume that your broker is giving you the best deal on insurance out of the goodness of his heart. After all he/she likely has a family and kids to feed also. You really owe it to yourself and your family to get the best coverage you can afford at the best rate you can.

Problem is, with all the demands on our time, it can be a pain and extremely difficult to chase around after quotes.

Well, we just may have the solution for you. Our “One Stop Quote” service brings together a number of insurance providers.

By entering your details you can receive multiple quotes all at the click of a mouse.

Try it! You’ll save a ton of time and may just save a bundle.

      Chevy Tracker – What’s In A Name?

When I got the idea for this site, it was essentially to have fun blogging about my Tracker. As I started, I soon saw that the Tracker basically is a ……………… Suzuki, re-badged as a GM, Pontiac, Chevy and God only knows what else.

There’s actually a couple of items in Wikipedia that try to trace some of the history of this little beast:

      Chevy Tracker – Click Here
      Suzuki Jimny – Click Here
Suzuki Escudo – Click Here – This article has a great timeline.

The bottom line is that it’s almost impossible to follow all the badge changes over time and basically, whether we’re talking about:

an Escudo, a Jimny, a Samurai, Sidekick, Vitara, Grand Vitara or Tracker, they’re pretty much identical across badges, at least up until 2004 when the trackers lost the convertible model.

Since I’m now including some videos of the breed, don’t be surprised to see some of the Suzuki variants. The important thing isn’t the badge, but the fum mini-SUV behind it!

      Make it a great one
