I have a Chevy Tracker and it won’t start. Even without the key in the ignition it makes a clicking noise, then whenever I try to start it, it doesn’t even attempt to turn over. I can’t even put it into neutral to push it. Any idea of what could be wrong and how to fix it?

for sure
check your starter
buy a VW/Toyota
Electrical short to ground in the starting circuit somewhere like if it is making noises without the key in the ignition.
Transmission? Did you check your fluids? Your serpentine belt could have snapped. Look under the hood to see if anything is visibly wrong.
Pull all the fuses except the ignition fuse. Then jump it or charge the battery back up, or get a new battery and the attempt to turn it over. Or maybe just start pulling fuses until the ticking noise stops then leave that fuse out see if it will turn over. I not a mechanic.
