what year(s) tracker are you looking at? generally speaking older ones starting with 1989 will be lower in price. in the PNW they start at around $1500. and go up to $6,000. for newer low mileage trackers. you can search your local craig’s list for pricing and cars for sale.
the suzuki sidekick and chevy tracker are the same vehicle (suzuki makes them for chevy)
they come in two wheel or four wheel drive and the newer ones have 16 valve engines. they also come as an automatic or manual transmission. they are true 4×4 vehicles with rear wheel drive, high/low transfer case and shift into 4 wheel drive on the fly.
you can get the convertible with a two piece hard top as an option or after market add on.
as far as mpg you should get up to 27 to 29 mpg hwy with the 4 wheel drive version.
these are fun cars to drive and do surprisingly well off road.
advance adaptors makes a conversion kit to allow a vw diesel to run in these vehicles. with the diesel they will get high almost 40mpg hwy.
hope this helps
You need to post the year and model two or four door of this tracker to get a good answer.
