I am looking to buy a 2001 chevy Tracker suv. It is only a 4cylinder but i have heard that suvs are terrible on gas. Does anyone have any experience with this make or any other suv’s that they can give me great tips on which ones are best on gas and repairs and such?

I have a 2000 Chevy Tracker, 4WD, automatic transmission.
Nearly every time I decelerate, around 25 mph, my car makes a metallic clunk noise. This also occurs sometimes when I take my car of park and when I turn the wheel to the far right.
Special notes:
*The transmission was replaced about 3 years ago
*I was in 2 car accidents in February 2010 which mainly caused body damage
*The car has 160,000+ miles on it
*The tires are pretty bare
nd no there is not one under the hood. Does any one know where I can get a serpentine belt diagram for a 2000 chevy tracker? 2.0 liter with A/C?

2000 chevy tracker stuck in reverse and sense It will not go into park, It will not start;
It’s stuck solid. The shifter will not move at all on the center console

our chevy tracker stalls while driving. It doesn’t matter if you are going 10 miles an hour or 75 miles an hour. It doesn’t happen consistently but frequently. It will restart after a minute or two..we already put a tune up on it. It has been throwing codes when it dies but not the same code all the time. we are thinking it could possibly be a cam Sensor.
