sound of a rebuilt engine of suzuki vitara. 1000 kilometers after rebuild, 1.6 8v engine. main and rod bearings were replaced. pistons and piston rings were not changed. it had a slight rod knock before rebuilt, rod bearing clearence was almost 0.4-5 milimeters. sound seems a little loud to me, and i’m thinking that the engine is ticking excesively. wanna hear your opinion. i would like to mention that piston to wall clearence is almost 0.5 milimeters 
but compression is very good. i am planning to change the pistons this fall.
