SUZUKI VITARA OFF-ROAD COLLECTION (PART 1)
a modified and locked F/R suzuki samurai, with Boggers heading up Kalaheo Dam, huge ruts and a muddy up hill battle. also a heavly modified Geo-Tracker rear locked spinning 38boggers, (had some trouble at 1st, but made it)
I love my Tracker and as I browsed around the net to find out what I could about these machines, I discovered that there’re a ton of people who modify and off road them.
It’s unbelievable where some people take these rigs – over rocks, through mud, muck and water. To top it all off, some of the mod jobs look fantastic as well.
I’m a little old to start serious offroading, but when I got my Tracker, I wanted to spruce it up a bit. You can follow my project over at TrackerSidekickHq.com,
Now I don’t like paying more than I have to for anything – who does? I also hate wasting a ton of time searching for this or that part. So, naturally, I headed off to the search engines
If you’ve searched for anything on Google or the other search engines lately, you’ve probably noticed thatĀ you can spend a ton of time going round and round in circles looking for this or that part. Quite frankly it can be downright frustrating.
Well, I`ve done a ton of searching and discovered a number of suppliers that stock Chevy Tracker and Geo Tracker parts as well as those for their cousins, the Suzuki Samurai, Sidekick and Vitaras.
So, I got to thinking, why not let others benefit from my efforts to save time, effort, money and frustration. This site is the result of that.
This site will be a constant work in progress as I discover new resources, so be sure to check back often.
So there you have it.
I do suggest that you take the time to read theĀ Affiliation / TOS page.
To make a long story short, my first look at one of these little beasties was in Fuerteventura wheb I rented a Suzuki Jimny. It was a blast, but vacation ended and I quickly forgot about it.
Fast forward a few years and I decided that I wanted a summer fun car and started out looking for a sports car. One thing led to another, and I remembered the Jimny. That`s when I forgot about a sports car, started looking for a Jimny. At first I wondered if we had these things in Canada and to my surprise found out we had the ChevyTracker and Geo Trackers, as well as the Suzuki variants (mainly the Sidekick and the Vitara).
That was it! A bit of searching and I wound up with the 2003 Chevy Tracker that you see up above on the right. Not quite a sports car right?
But it`s great and, I get to use it in the Canadian winters. Now, that`s cool.
Hope you like the site and find it useful.
